The result of the laboratory tests of masks established in Nepal with the participation of chairperson of Scientific and National Innovation Center(Rashtriya Awiskar Kendra) Nepal, Dr. Mahabir Pun, and investigators have come to be successful.

Dr. Pun expresses the laboratory test of producing masks in an investigation center alternative to N 95 which is considered as the world´s most qualitative mask is seen to be positive. He informs the use of HEPA(HEPA) filter and N -99 in the mask.

The mask uses a HEPA filter which works as much as N-95 can. And the N-99 even works better than N-95. More Specialized mask N -99 can even filter bacterias of 0.3 microns.

Dr. Pun also apprises that the test was carried by Pradip Karki and Navin Adhikari who are the specialists of Tilganga Eye Hospital. Dr. Pun stated that the masks with qualitative filter could be produced within Nepal and thanked everyone for active participation during the investigation and Tilganga Eye Hospital through social media.
